Personal Productivity

A personal workspace for capturing ideas, keeping useful context, and finding the next step in a project.

What it does

Personal Productivity brings task notes, selected source material, and small information-finding tools into a workspace on its owner’s Mac. A conversational assistant can use that context to help organize work and prepare drafts.

It is a personal-use tool under development. This website explains the app and its data practices.

Current integration

Find email references

The Gmail integration helps locate email references by sender, recipient, and date within selected labels and a combined message limit. Message subjects can be included when enabled for an account. Each account is connected separately through Google’s authorization process.

When label application is enabled, the helper can add approved existing custom labels to selected messages. It does not expose message-body or attachment reading, sending, trashing, deletion, label removal, or draft creation. These restrictions are enforced by the helper; the Google permission needed to apply labels permits additional actions.

How your information is handled

Gmail authorizations are stored in macOS Keychain. The helper’s message index stays in memory while it runs. Selected search results can be shared with the assistant when you ask it to use the Gmail capability.
